Gavin Heaton

One of the things I love about blogs and similar spaces is that they provide exactly what you are talking about ... a digital collecting space (no matter whether your collection is images, sounds or ideas). John Naisbitt wrote about the "tangibility balance" (nice phrase) in his book Megatrends. You may have read it ... but if not, you can find many snapshots around the web:


You might also like this book: On Longing by Susan Stewart. Not only does she write beautifully but the whole work is a description of longing as evidenced by the need to collect
