Soldiering on

I have a cold. It's just a cold but it's making me feel rotten.

I really, really want to be strong, stoic and uncomplaining about it.

.....I also really want people to notice and appreciate how stoic I'm being.

I find a small cough or sniffle at the end of a sentence helps people appreciate just how brave you are being.
